Highlights
- Architected an end-to-end video pipeline (RTSP → Redis queue → Python/FastAPI inference → Node/Express backend → React dashboard) detecting PPE violations in real time with ByteTrack-based multi-object tracking.
- Designed a cross-camera deduplication system combining in-process zone sessions with Postgres-side advisory locking and dHash fingerprint/Hamming-distance matching to prevent duplicate incident rows for the same physical event.
- Implemented violation lifecycle management (open/extend/auto-resolve) with stale-incident expiry, live WebSocket updates, and JWT-secured REST APIs documented via Swagger.
- Shipped a full Docker Compose deployment (backend, inference, ingestion, frontend, Redis) with structured JSON logging and request-ID correlation across all services for production observability.
